The winery was founded in 1948 by the first 87 founding members, who farmed 65 hectares of vineyards and orchards. Over time, this base grew to 300 members and more than 250 hectares.

Our vineyards are located in the Bratislava region of the Malokarpatska viticultural area on the southern and southeastern slopes of the Malé Karpaty Mountains. We grow grapes on loamy-sandy, slightly stony soil, which is known for its rich mineral composition. This unique soil terroir is suitable for growing the traditional varieties of Frankovka modrá and Müller Thurgau. However, in our vineyards you can also find the varieties Rizlig rýnsky, Veltlínske zelené, Irsai Oliver or the red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Neronet.

Today, we, the children and grandchildren of the founding members, still cultivating this heritage with the same respect and love, are able to bring the excellent wines of our ancestors to your tables.
